Hispanic Health and Climate workshop

The HIspanic Health and Climate workshop was held on October 18, 2019, 7:00 PM-9:00 PM PST. The film I Am Cheo was shown and well-received. In attendance were local firefighters, buffel grass experts from the Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum, and PSR.

Dr. Barbara Warren, PSR AZ Chapter leader, spoke about community organizing around extreme heat protection and need to address climate change. Dr. Warren shared her important work: Building Resilient Neighborhoods (BRN). See link on PSR AZ’s website:
