Honoring Victims of Nuclear Bombs & Reactors

Citizens of Tucson hold an annual festival called All Souls Procession inspired by Dia de los muertos, or “Day of the Dead,” the Mexican holiday to celebrate and honor the deceased. With nuclear abolition in mind, PSR Arizona’s Barbara Warren (furthest to the left) joined 16 people to participate in this year’s November 8-9 event–clad in hazmat suits and with a giant Sadako puppet–in remembrance of the victims of nuclear bombs and reactors. What a perfect example of a unique and creative way to educate the public!
